For over 17 years, women from ages 17 to 70 have been converging on Nanaimo from all over the world to take part in a unique sailing experience. No, we’re not talking about double-hand sailing with Brad Pitt! Rather, sailing-instruction from women, by women, of course!
HERIZEN™ Sailing for Women focuses on teaching women the finer details of the “whys” of sailing, while at the same time building self-confidence and self-esteem that will benefit them not only on the water, but back on land as well.
Ladies can choose from various sailing courses and learn on a San Juan 24 in a supportive, non-judgmental environment.
HERIZEN™ is under new ownership by Valma Brenton who brings over 25 years of boating experience to the company.
