Instructions For Booking

• Choose the location of your course, the length of course you want: Adventure Sail Training & Yoga Adventures in the British Virgin Islands, Baja, Mexico, Belize, and BC, Canada. Private Lessons & Coaching aboard your vessel, Sailing for Women Seminars, Day sessions, "Specialty" and Executive Leadership Sail Training Retreats and your preferred dates based on availability. Decide whether you want Trip Cancellation Insurance (TCI) & Medical Insurance

• E-mail, telephone, or write to HERIZEN™ Sailing for Women and reserve your dates, giving your full name, address, telephone numbers (home and work), fax number, and e-mail address, if possible. Include details of your sailing background so we know what your needs are and your date of birth if you are purchasing Trip Cancellation Insurance & Medical Insurance. We recommend you BOOK EARLY to reserve your space.
• Pay your deposit payment (and TCI, if applicable) by cheque, direct bank deposit, bank draft international money order (payable to HERIZEN™ Life Adventures International Inc.), VISA or MasterCard.

Deposits & Payment Details

• All values are in Canadian dollars for Canadian programs and USD for British Virgin Islands, Baja, Mexico & Belize and outside of Canada Sailing programs.
  
• A 50% non-refundable deposit payment is required to reserve your space.
  
• The deposit payment is 50% of the base price plus applicable taxes. GST (5% Goods and Services Tax for Canadian Programs only).
  
• VISA and MasterCard are accepted for all programs in CDN. All British Virgin Islands, Baja, Mexico, Belize & outside Canada Sailing programs are USD and can be paid directly to US bank account, US International Mondy Order, US cheque or you can pay with credit card in CDN at the exchange rate for USD.
• Terms and Conditions
  
• All Cancellations or Transfers must be received in writing. All program payments are non-refundable.
• Transfers: The deposit payment is transferable to another sail training course date upon receipt of written notice and notice of change is 60 days or more prior to the date of your sail training course or your sail training course time slot is rebooked. Only in Canada. Based on availability and has to be used within 12 months. Service and admin fees apply.
  
• Cancellations: All payments are non-refundable. In the event of cancellation, upon receipt of written notice of cancellation, the balance payment, due 60 days prior to the start of your sail training course date may be applied to a future training (transfer / admin fees apply). For cancellation less than 60 days prior to the sail training date all payments are non-refundable..
• Travel Insurance: As part of your trip package you will receive an option to purchase trip cancellation insurance. We recommend that you purchase travel insurance to protect your investment in case you cancel your trip in the event that you become unwell.
• Canceled Trips: HERIZEN™ Sailing for Women reserves the right to change an itinerary or cancel any trip based on Acts of God, weather, inadequate sign up, or any unforseen events. In such cases we will offer either a transfer to another comparable trip or a credit towards a future trip. The Customer is 100% responsible for any other trip preparation expenses, airline tickets and fees, hotel charges, gratuities, medical expenses or equipment purchases.
• Transportation Services: HERIZEN™ Sailing for Women acts only as an agent in all matters relating to services such as taxi, ground transportation, airport transport, hotel or boat charters, ferries. The Customer assumes liability for any actions or defaults of any individual organization with who such arrangements are made.
• Medical: Our instructors are trained in First Aid and CPR. We carry a VHF radio and cell phones so help can be summoned in an emergency. Participants are encouraged to purchase adequate medical insurance coverage. The participant assumes full responsibility regarding provision cost of medical care or evacuation. Certain medical conditions will require a written doctor's permission prior to participation.
  
• Liability: A participant agreement, release and assumption of risk form must be reviewed and signed by all participants and returned to our office prior to each sailing course. Participation can only take place once the signed document has been submitted to our office..

Upon receipt of deposit payment and Trip Cancellation premium payment if applicable, HERIZEN™ Sailing for Women will forward to you a receipt for deposit payment.

Please note: If you wish to purchase Trip Cancellation Insurance, it must be paid at the same time as the deposit payment. There are no taxes on Insurance Premiums. Contact us for more information on insurance premium prices.

Our Policies

HERIZEN™ Sailing for Women would like to ensure that all participants understand that our programs and courses are unique. We consider our programs to be an adventure where each particpant are active participants. HERIZEN™ Sailing for Women designs and organizes our unique sailing courses and adventure sailing programs and delivers them in many places in the world for women who want to experience an active, out of the ordinary sailing experience.. Most of all we want our trips to be fun! In this spirit, the successful adventure sailor will be good-natured and have a sense of humor! Adventure vacations and courses, by nature, require that participants be self-sufficient, flexible, and able to accept situations as they exist, and not just as they would have preferred or expected them to exist. The constraints of sailing and living on a boat also necessitate that each of us be understanding of and sensitive to others. Being on time is important, and contributes to the congeniality, success and well being of both individuals and the group! We encourage you to be your own advocate and speak up when and if you need to.

SMOKE FREE POLICY
Please note that all HERIZEN™ Sailing for Women programs are SMOKE FREE. HERIZEN™ Sailing for Women sailing vessels are a smoke free zone. We ask that you respect this policy.

Trip Cancellation Insurance

• Purchased on your behalf by HERIZEN™ Sailing for Women through Nanaimo Travel.
• Covers the amount paid for the course including applicable taxes under conditions set out by the Insurance Company.
• Prices range depending on the price of the course and the age of the client.
• Prices are in Canadian dollars or USD..
• Date of birth is required information for purchase.
• Premium is Payable at the time of booking HERIZEN™ sailing training& courses.
