Sail with Women
Women often find they like to sail with women, at least part of the time, because women understand women. When you are first trying on your own reality, it is helpful to sail with women to solidify your concept and understanding of your reality.

Orient Yourself to the Boat
It is always a good idea to hoist up the mainsail at the dock prior to getting underway. This way you will make sure that all the lines are in the proper position, nothing has broken or been stored in the wrong location. Your sailing experience will be more enjoyable and safer and boosts your belief in yourself.
