Valma Brenton and daughter Jaimi - surfing Baja

My daughter Jaimi and I came to Baja in the early part of October. It sure was hot. We arrived just in time for tropical storm Patricia and then hurricane Rick was heading straight for us. Rick went away from us and the weather set in just lovely. The Yoga Teacher Camp here in Baja was a success and I am delighted with our new students. They are already teaching. I was then off to Belize with a full sailing crew. Weather was not as good as I would have liked...yet we managed to hide out in a special place for Thanksgiving even when other boats were having to reset their anchors. Right after Belize I flew to French Martinique and spent 8 days coaching Catherine Allport. She chartered a 38 foot sloop and sailed down the Caribbean chain of islands with guests that did not have experience. What a great adventure. You rock Catherine! Now I am back in Baja. Christmas was really a treat. I had both of my children here and this is the first time we have been in the same country together in almost 10 years. I am very happy.

Now, I prepare for the adventures in 2010. Sailing trips are coming together and shortly I will have the final details for the India Spiritual Adventures. These will be announced shortly.
